SUPERFOODS FOR WINTERS


Chilly winters are here and sudden weather changes make our body more prone to infectious and health problems. So here are some winter superfoods that you can include in your diet each day to  give your body the immune boost and keep infections at bay.

Oranges:- Oranges is good for health during winters as it is rich in fibre and vitamin C, which promote digestion , boots immunity, provide skin glow and helps in weight loss.



        Carrots:- This vegetable contains vitamin A that helps slow down the ageing process, promote healthy skin, contributes to better eyesight. It help the liver in flushing out toxin from the body and also helps to reduce fat and bile in the liver.



       Nuts and seeds:- They have essential fatty acids and help you fight cold and cough, boots immune system , aids better digestion and dryness of the skin from winter.

 


       Ghee:- It  is a good fat which is easily digestible , generate energy and heat. It helps keep your body warm and  is also a great immunity booster.




        Garlic:- It is a natural antibiotic which helps prevent urinary tract infection, pneumonia, bronchitis, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol.



      Turmeric:-  It is antibacterial, anti –inflammatory , anti fungal, therapeutic super food , boots your immunity and prevent cold cough.



     Broccoli :- Broccoli, many a dietitian’s favourite vegetable, contains high levels of key antioxidants as well as a number of vitamins and minerals. Add to as many vegetable dishes and stir fries as you can. For some extra flavour, try steaming broccoli with a little soy and oyster sauce.
